We get a lot of questions about the festival.

​"You mean you serve beer??? at a CHURCH?" 

Yes. Oktoberfest is a uniquely German festival, and the Protestant Reformation (and the Lutheran denomination) began in Germany. So we feel a connection to our German forebears, even if most of us are pretty far removed from Germany.

Our mission is to show God's love for all through hospitality, and to promote the well-being of Incarnation Lutheran Church and the larger community. We want everyone to know they are welcome at church. Come on down, have fun, drink a beer with us!

Our proceeds benefit the youth of our church, who work very hard during our festival, and Lutheran Services Carolinas. You'll want to check them out. They do lots of good work.
